Profª. Drª. Maria Denize Henrique Casagrande (Headmaster)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Sciences (UFSC/1985), Postgraduate lato sensu in Auditing (UFSC/1987), Postgraduate lato sensu in Tax Law (UnC/1993), Master’s degree in Production Engineering (UFSC/1999) and PhD in Production Engineering (UFSC/2006) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina. She is currently an Associate Professor IV in the Department of Accounting at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, with most recent activities in disciplines such as Social Balance Sheet, Accounting for the Third Sector, Accounting for Condominiums, and in the coordination of several Extension projects in Civil Society Organizations. She was elected Director of the Socioeconomic Center (UFSC) for the period 2023 to 2026, and served as Vice Director of the same Center in the previous management from 2019 to 2022. She has experience in the area of Applied Social Sciences, with emphasis on Accounting and Public Education Administration, as Head of the Department of Accounting from 2008 to 2012 and General Coordinator of the Accounting Course in the distance learning modality, in the same period. She participates in the Volunteer Program of the Accounting Class of the Regional Accounting Council of Santa Catarina, as an effective Councilor. She coordinated the Commission of Accounting Science Teaching Institutions of the State of Santa Catarina from 2020 to 2021.

Prof. Dr. Daniel Ricardo Castelan (Deputy Director)
Adjunct Professor at the Department of Economics and International Relations at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, where he studies the topics of Brazilian foreign policy and education and international relations. He serves as a professor of the stricto sensu Graduate Program in International Relations. Between 2017 and 2020, he served as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in International Relations at UFSC. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Institute of Social and Political Studies at UERJ (IESP-UERJ) and a Master’s in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). He graduated in the same area from the University of Brasilia (UnB).
