Profª. Drª. Maria Denize Henrique Casagrande (Dean)
Prof. Casagrande holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting Science (UFSC/1985), a graduate certificate degree in Auditing (UFSC/1987), a graduate certificate degree in Tax Law (UnC/1993), a master’s degree in Production Engineering (UFSC/1999) and a doctoral degree in Production Engineering (UFSC/2006). She is currently an Associate Professor, level IV, in the Department of Accounting at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), where she has taught courses such as Social Audit, Third Sector Accounting, and Condominium Accounting. She has also coordinated several outreach projects in Civil Society Organizations. She was elected Dean of the School of Socio-Economic Sciences at UFSC for the term 2023-2026, and she has served as Vice Dean of the same School in the previous administration, from 2019 to 2022. She has experience in the area of Applied Social Sciences, with emphasis on Accounting and Public Education Administration. She has served as Head of the Department of Accounting from 2008 to 2012 and General Coordinator of the Accounting Program (distance learning) in the same period. She participates in the Accounting Class Volunteer Program of the Regional Accounting Council of Santa Catarina, as an effective Councilor. She coordinated the Commission of Accounting Teaching Institutions of the State of Santa Catarina from 2020 to 2021.

Prof. Dr. Daniel Ricardo Castelan (Vice Dean)
Prof. Castelan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and International Relations at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where he researches Brazilian foreign policy and education and international relations. He serves as a professor of the Graduate Program in International Relations. Between 2017 and 2020, he served as Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in International Relations at UFSC. He holds a doctoral degree in Political Science from the Institute of Social and Political Studies at the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ) and a master’s degree in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). He holds an undergraduate degree in the same field from the Universidade de Brasilia (UnB).
