PRESENTATION
TO THE CSE ACADEMIC COMMUNITY (MANAGERS, STUDENTS, TEACHING STAFF AND TECHNICAL-ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF) OF THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SCIENCES CENTER (CSE).
The scientific and technological autonomy of a nation has, as a basic condition, the quality of higher education. Universities have the main purpose of producing and disseminating knowledge to society through the articulated and inseparable development of the triad teaching, research and extension.
The quality of the knowledge produced and disseminated at a university should be permeated by international standards of excellence, strategic lines of socioeconomic development for the country and its surrounding region.
There are several programs inside and outside the Federal University of Santa Catarina, at national and international levels that foster the development of science, culture, art, and technology.
There are scholarships, aid offered by internal bodies and foundations linked to the UFSC for all segments of the academic community, and also programs that encourage the interaction between university and society.
The purpose of the CSE’s project consulting services is to divulge and provide clarifications about national and international funding sources, as well as about current edicts for the promotion of teaching, research, and extension activities.
- Internal sources from agencies, sectors, and foundations that promote the development of teaching, research, and extension at UFSC.
- External sources that foster scientific and technological development, through scholarships and grants offered to the academic community at national and international levels.
